After spending about 20 year of his life in Canada Baba Budh Singh Ji Dhahan decided to return to his own country in 1979 with a cherished dream to provide best of medical and educational facilities to the needy and less privileged people of rural areas of his beloved state of Punjab. In fact it was his childhood dream that got intensified with the motivation of respected Sant Baba Sewa Singh (Kar Sewa Qilla Anandgarh, Shri Anandpur Sahib).
He undertook a multi faceted project at Dhahan Kaleran to translate his dream into reality. To begin with a Trust 'Guru Nanak Mission Medical & Educational Trust' was founded which within a short span of time got established as a Medical Hospital. The services being rendered by this Trust are widely acclaimed. In fact all this epitomizes great personality - Baba Budh Singh Ji who is an embodiment of exceptional qualities like farsightedness, dedication, devotion, determination, perseverance, commitment and sincerity. Amazingly enough even at the ripe stage of his life the will to serve is as storing as it was in his youth. A salute to his unique personality with such a spirit of selfless service unto others.
Strange are the ways of God. It is He who sends some great souls on the earth to help people in their dire needs. It is in the midst of such trying circumstances that God seems to have assigned this duty to Baba Budh Singh ji to ensure these basic medical and educational services to the people of this region at their own place. Baba ji having got another Trust Guru Nanak Mission International Charitable Trust registered, constituted a team committed to the service of mankind. The team seeking grace and strength from Almighty is on its way to realize the dream that Baba ji has. Trust aims at starting big institutes for proving Health & Educational services to meet the much awaited requirements of this rural area spreading over 300 villages.
